Little downtown ice cream shop... My favorite place to go get ice cream.

It was wonderful. It always is. The best Ice Cream around. And the staff is always so friendly.

Best ice cream in Citrus county. Good hotdogs, too! Really friendly owners and staff.

This place was amazing! So friendly and upbeat! Lots of options including gluten-free and lactose free. There was pork and ribs smoking while we were there that smelled spectacular. Will definitely visit every time I have a chance!

People are friendly, ice cream is good. All around good spot! Always a cheerful greeting and lots of options on how to get your "dose" of cream. They also have hot dogs and BBQ. We tried a variety if hot dogs when family was in town. Those are good, too, and come in a lot of styles woth toppings. Haven't tried the BBQ, but will update when I do!

Love this little Ice Cream Shoppe anybody in the area would be crazy not to stop and try them out.

Good ice cream taste like it's freshly made

This is the first time I had the Ice Cream Dr cater my annual BBQ and all 45 guests Loved the food. The BBQ pork, beef and beans along with the Cole slaw and garlic bread was all very good. This hidden gem has gained some new customers.

My wife and I love it and the waffle cones are the best. They also have BBQ and hot dogs and more but so far we have only had the Ice Cream.

Always take my guests to get their "prescription " 😷, ice cream favorites. So much fun😍

This is like the old fashioned type ice cream parlor! Not only ANY ice cream dessert,but great sandwiches, and I even tried their barbecue ribs..I have never walked away dissatisfied. I highly recommend their homemade shakes and malts’

Ice cream Dr. is a great place to eat. The staff is wonderful and super friendly. I was pleasantly surprised with so much variety and different foods offered from an "ice cream shop" like the curry chicken, beef tacos, to the BBQ sandwiches oh not to forget the different flavors of ice cream with a flavorful gluten free section too. It's always a good feeling when at the Ice cream Dr. It's a great place for food and desserts!

This place isn't just great for ice cream. It's Citrus County's best kept secret that they also have an amazing smoker and great relationships with local farms. Quite literally the meat and vegetables they use to cook with come straight from local farms. Do yourself a favor - grab dinner and dessert here!!

Wonderful people! Hoosier family relocated and we found them. Ice cream is delicious, pulled pork is wonderful and they have a punch card for your ice cream treats, ten punches and you get a freebie! Bonus! If you're from Indiana and stop by, they love to get Colts items for their walls. Love this place!

This unassuming building holds a hole in the wall ice cream shop that is fantastic. We stopped in anticipating an ice cream sundae and ended up having some of the best brisket you could imagine. The food was great. The ice cream was decadent. If I could give this place more stars I happily would!

Terrific hand-scooped ice cream. My daughter loved the Double Dose with Superman and Cotton Candy. We had been rock hiding on the courthouse square. When we came upon Doc's I couldn't refuse my sweet daughter. After they'd scooped my ice cream, I realized I'd left my purse in the car. They were so super duper nice about me running to the car and very kind about soothing me over my extreme embarrassment. We haven't lost bed here long and this was our first visit. You can be sure we will be back with the rest of the family. Few places these days have such super customer service. Everyone was so friendly, efficient, and kind. The store is spotlessly clean. And they have more than just ice cream. Maybe next time we'll grab a hot dog or a sandwich.

Was headed to Crystal River and felt like a banana split....read the reviews for this awesome establishment and decided we must try! My spouse ordered a dr hotdog and brisket soft taco....YUM...I ordered the pork nachos....also YUM!!! I ended up without room for the Split after all that goodness, so we'll be back Sunday on our route home to try the sweets....stay tuned😁😁

Every time I visit Hernando, Fl I make it a point to get some Hershey's Ice Cream here. They have an excellent variety of flavors. I was there twice this last visit. My second visit included lunch with a enchilada. Now they are not a Mexican restaurant but they have good BBQ as well as regular sandwiches.
